Hello Tucson, this is an update from your locally owned and operated husband & wife team Pixx by Sixx.
THIS IS NOT A SALES PITCH OR AD. We believe in transparency and communication and want to update our customers on some upcoming changes. If you are not interested, please disregard the rest and sorry to bother you!
We have been through a lot of ups and downs these past 7 years. We bounced back from 2020. We’re trekking through the housing market slowdown. We do a lot of residential rekeys, so when people are buying less houses and moving less, we have less business, too.
In July, we were overcome by events. The July 14 monsoon storm flooded our shop. We lost some inventory and some tools, including our auto programmer. Our vehicle, the Lockbox, the purple monstrosity that hopefully you have noticed driving around town (that’s kind of the point), has served us faithfully since 2017, but it’s getting old. It’s needing more and more expensive repairs, more and more often.
Sometimes the universe just pushes you in a new direction, with new opportunities. We will be doing some restructuring and trimming some fat. We will be returning to 100% mobile services. Sixx has taken a part-time job. Heather is also working full-time elsewhere, and has been for awhile.
WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU. We are not able to do car keys/fobs. We do not have a storefront. We may be able to help with lockouts, occasionally. Sixx may show up in a personal vehicle, if the purple Lockbox is down. We would still be happy to help with residential and commercial needs. If you are able to have patience with us, we appreciate you. If you have an urgent matter, we understand you need to go elsewhere.
We are grateful for the 7 years that Tucson has given us, and we are excited about the new direction. We hope that you will take this journey with us. If you want to help, referrals & reviews are the greatest thing we could ask for!
Sixx & Heather
